Srikar Learning Poetry – My Pets

 

It would be so nice
To have five little mice
I could feed them rice
Or, if they want, some lice

Why, then I could get
A striped tiger for a pet
It would be fun, I bet
When we go to the vet

Or I could get some rats
They can nibble my old bats
I could teach them some maths
And I could give them baths

You could get me some snakes
That like to have corn flakes
Nice chocolates, buns and cakes
And give icy cold hand shakes
